my story
Hey there! I’m a graphic designer and writer/author. I first got my start in design as a bridal invitation designer working in a corporate office. I first worked as an intern typesetter for the same company while I finished college.
So really, I’ve been creating gorgeous templates for over 20 years now. It’s my calling, it’s what I love to do, and I feel completely in my element when I’m creating.

I look for new ways to convey information and lay it out. I start with shapes I’m into, and then pick a color palette, and the textures. That’s when the genius sets in.

the journey for financial independence
When I went through college and my first divorce, it dawned on my just how much I was financially dependent on someone else. Sure, I made my own money, but it never seemed like it was enough to build actual wealth.
This is why I’m focusing my efforts on helping and educating women entering and exiting college how to be financially independent, so you can choose wisely the relationships you enter into, and fill your days with creative joy.
In Her Element was created for the strong, independent feminine blogger who wants to create and rise to the top. It's for the writer, blogger, and creator.
